Stay up to date
The best way to find out more about WS10 is on this website or by signing up to our email newsletter.
You can also join the ws10 club on Strava, or follow the ws10.run Facebook Page to find out about future events (if their algorithms decide to show it to you).
Frequently Asked Questions
Here's a bunch of questions I've been asked a few times in one way or another. Got a different question? Send me an email and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
- How fast do I need to be?
- The timing will stop at 1 hour 20 minutes. If you can finish a parkrun in less than 35 minutes, without almost dying, you can probably complete a WS10 in the available time.
- What if I'm slower than that?
- If you can't finish in 1 hour 20 minutes but you're still keen to participate, let me know. I'm open to having an earlier start time for slower runners.
- How do I register?
- You only need to register on the site once, and then you can show up to any event. To register go to the sign up page and fill in your details. Don't forget to click on the confirmation link in your email afterwards!
- I tried to register, why didn't I get a confirmation email?
- The most likely reason is that it went to spam, check your spam for an email from [email protected]. Mark it as not spam (and then try again if the confirmation link has expired). The next most likely reason is a typo in your email address (don't worry, it can happen to anyone). Register again and make sure you're typing it correctly.
- Are you on Strava / Facebook / X (Twitter) / Instagram / Snapchat / LinkedIn / Tumblr / WhatsApp / TikTok / YouTube / Reddit / WeChat / Weibo / Kakaotalk?
- Yes. Yes. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
- The home for WS10 is here, on the WS10 website and in the WS10 email list. That's the best way to find out what's going on. I cross post to the ws10.run Club on Strava and the ws10.run Page on Facebook but I can't guarantee what the algorithm will show you so your best bet is to sign up to the WS10 email list at the top of this page.
- How can I contribute to WS10?
- There are several ways you can contribute:
- Come along and participate! Having a friendly group of people makes it worth organising.
- Invite others! Bring along some friendly, enthusiastic people to run with us.
- Volunteer occasionally! Perhaps you can do the timing one month? Or bring an esky and some water bottles? Let me know if you're keen to help and we can figure something out!
- Support financially! Your contribution helps improve the event for everyone.
- How much does it cost to participate?
- The event is free but voluntary contributions are welcome.
- In 2025 I was able to keep WS10 free by keeping costs super low but the event is growing and I'm keen to improve it. If you're able to chip in $5 per event you take part in or $25 for the whole year I'd be grateful.
- I have a different question, how can I get in touch?
- The best way is to send me an email. I can also be contacted on Strava or you can message the ws10.run page on Facebook Messenger.
